Voting in Logo Contest open until June 3
The contest to select the design that will be this year’s Laurel Run logo is open until June 3, and everyone is invited to help select the winner.
Again this year, the Laurel Run planning committee held a contest seeking designs from area high school students. From all of the designs that were submitted, designs from students at six schools (Chautauqua Lake, Forestville, Fredonia, Jamestown, Sherman, Silver Creek) were chosen as finalists. Those 10 designs are now posted on the Observer’s web site, and people are encouraged to go online and vote for their favorite logo. The online voting results will be combined with the results of internal voting at The Resource Center to select this year’s logo.
Click here to see the designs and cast your vote. Voting will last until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 3. The winning design will appear on this year’s Laurel Run T-shirts and other promotional materials. The winning artist will receive a $100 gift card to a store of his or her choice. This year’s artists did a tremendous job, so please take time to cast your vote!
