We’d like to thank everyone for their support and sponsorship of the 2019 Laurel Run! Without your kind contributions none of this would be possible. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! For those already thinking about next year’s event it’s already being planned and will take place July 17-18 in 2020. See you then!

Virtual Riding for Laurel Registration

Can’t make it to the Riding for Laurel event November 2? Then do a Virtual Riding for Laurel instead!

We know there are many people who would like to be part of Riding for Laurel but are unable to make it to Chautauqua Health & Fitness for the actual event. (Or maybe the event will be so popular that it sells out!) For this reason, we’ve created the Virtual Riding for Laurel so that everyone can have a chance to be part of the event.

Taking part in the Virtual Riding for Laurel is simple. First, choose an activity – for instance, you could do 50 minutes (or whatever length of time you want) on a spin cycling machine, an elliptical machine or other piece of equipment. Or if you’ve taken part in the Laurel Memorial Run or Walk, you could choose to run or walk. Then, go and complete your personal Laurel Run. You can choose to do your Virtual Riding for Laurel on the same day as the actual event, or you can accomplish it on your own time. The point is to demonstrate your support for people with special needs by agreeing to Go the Distance and completing your personal Virtual Riding for Laurel.

Participating in the Virtual Riding for Laurel is free. To make it official, register below! If you’re feeling inspired, you can set up a personal fund-raising page and collect donations from family members, friends and co-workers in support of your Virtual Riding for Laurel. If you raise or donate at least $30, you will receive a Riding for Laurel T-shirt and a commemorative medal made by people with special needs.

Remember to post about your Virtual Riding for Laurel using the hashtag #RidingforLaurel.

Online registration is now closed.  You may register on site tomorrow morning.  If you have any questions, please call Steve Waterson at 969-9209.  Happy Riding for Laurel!
